A few vegan supplements to try.

Vegan supplements provide a variety of health benefits that can be beneficial to people following a vegan lifestyle. These supplements are typically made from plant-based sources, such as fruits and vegetables, which provide essential vitamins and minerals. Additionally, because these supplements do not contain animal byproducts, they are often lower in calories and cholesterol than traditional supplements made with animal products. Vegan supplements can also help improve digestion, boost energy levels, enhance the immune system, reduce inflammation, and support overall health.

I’m a big fan of Future Kind, they do a lot of things right:

  • Products are made specifically for vegans

  • All products are third-party tested in the US for quality

  • Ship worldwide

  • Reasonable prices

  • Always uses the highest quality ingredients (e.g. vitamin D3 vs D2)

2. DEVA

DEVA is probably the best-known supplement company that only makes vegan products. They make a pretty broad line of vitamins, including the big ones like vitamins B12, C, D, and E. There are also a few multivitamins that combine the main ones. They also have a few mineral supplements like calcium and iron.

Garden of Life is known for their raw, vegan supplements. They make protein powders, but also a wide range of vitamins. You can find vitamins B12, C, D3, E, and K, as well as multivitamins and prenatal vitamins.

On top of that, they have zinc and iron mineral supplements. One neat thing about Garden of Life products is that some of them are sprays (like B12), which are a unique alternative to standard pills or gummies

4. MRM

Like Garden of Life, MRM is known for their other vegan supplements, mostly protein and general health supplements. However, they have a limited line of vitamins as well. MRM is a good choice if you’re looking for a vegan vitamin D3 or K2.

Finally, Doctor’s Best is not a solely vegan company. However, they do have a huge range of supplements, and the ones that are vegan are clearly marked with a green vegan label on the front of the product (as you can probably see in the picture above). They have pretty much every individual vitamin you could need: B, C, D, E, and K, and also have mineral supplements like calcium, iron, and magnesium.

The majority of MaryRuth supplements are vegan-friendly. Aside from standard pill forms, they also come in gummy and liquid forms, which can be convenient. They don’t have the biggest range of products, but they do have a few multivitamins, as well as individual vitamin D3, B2, and CoQ10 enzymes.

7. Ora Organic is a company that makes a variety of nutritional supplements that are all 100% vegan. They are even certified by Vegan Action. Every single one of their products is also gluten-free and soy-free.

One of my favorite products from Ora Organic is their Apple & Raspberry probiotic and prebiotic powder. I like to add one scoop to a smoothie and it tastes great! If you are looking for a probiotic, you can also check out my full guide to vegan probiotic supplements.

8. Abundant Earth Labs Abundant Earth Labs may not be a top choice for many considering they offer only one product. But I won’t be surprised if your opinion changes after learning that the one product they offer is an all-natural supplement made with 32 organic vegetables and fruits. Mine did, too.

In addition to essential vitamins, it contains turmeric, digestive enzymes, probiotics, omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, and a mushroom blend, all extracted from plant sources. Moreover (and why Abundant Earth Labs appears on my list despite a strictly limited product line), the supplements contain methylcobalamin.

For the uninitiated, methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 known for its superior bioavailability. Abundant Earth supplements are one of the very few vegan multivitamins that contain methylcobalamin.

9. Solgar Experience, quality, variety, and reputation are the key factors consumers consider when deciding between different brands. Solgar not just meets all these conditions, but fulfills them like no other brand could (I am not exaggerating). Here’s how:

Having been around since 1947, Solgar has 75 years of experience making vegan supplements. Ever since the very beginning, the company has maintained its own manufacturing facilities with a team of nutrition scientists to create innovative formulas and ensure quality. The brand also asserts that it avoids using artificial ingredients and fillers to its maximum capability. Source: https://www.solgar.com/
