The Day My Car Disappeared: A Little Story Time

Mom guilt is no joke, and boy, did I feel it smack me in the face recently. It all started on a busy day when I was juggling my role as a mom, content creator, and aspiring businesswoman.

I had a meeting scheduled with my marketing manager to brainstorm some new content ideas. I love creating content—it's my passion and my way of supporting other ambitious women and moms. So, despite the chaos of motherhood, I rearranged my schedule to make sure I didn't miss this important meeting.

On this particular day, I was acing the mom game. My boys were happily at their play-based learning school, and I managed to drop them off on time before heading to my meeting. Everything was going smoothly until it wasn't.

As I rushed out of my meeting, ready to pick up my boys from school, I was met with a sinking feeling in my stomach. My car was gone. Vanished. Disappeared into thin air. Panic set in as I realized I was stranded without transportation.

I called the school to let them know my predicament and my husband to come to the rescue. Tears filled my eyes as I worried about my boys being stranded without me. But amidst the chaos, I reached out to my marketing manager for support. Together, we scrambled to figure out what had happened to my car.

After what felt like an eternity of panic and uncertainty, we discovered that my car had been stolen. My heart sank even further. How could someone do this while I was just minding my own business?

Despite the stress and guilt weighing heavy on my shoulders, I knew I had to stay strong for my boys. With the help of technology, my husband, and the police, we managed to track down my car and reunite with my precious cargo—my boys and their car seats.

At that moment of chaos and uncertainty, I realized that I couldn't let guilt consume me. Life throws unexpected challenges our way, but it's how we handle them that defines us. I refuse to let mom guilt hold me back from pursuing my goals and dreams.
